Session 1

The Session: Hire me Please!!!
What are the managers looking for? What are job seekers looking for? Introspect yourself. Learn and grow!
The Speaker: Sudha Tayya
Current Role: Leader, Product Content Management, ServiceNow (Hyderabad) _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ In her own words
In my 22 years of professional journey, I spent 17 years in the field of technical communications. However, as a language trainer and a journalist in the past, I stayed true to the only skill I have known – writing. I had been on the consulting teams for a few startups in Bangalore and abroad, providing them with content experience solutions.  If I had my way, I would lose myself in the historical ruins, a sort of time machine that speaks to us about the lives led and the stories made. I'm one of those writers whose mind is filled with numerous stories but too lazy to write, resulting in them fading away before taking shape!

Having worked previously with Microsoft, ADP, Accenture, MphasiS, I was able to help 100+teams with my sessions. I believe better words matter. In love with content, data and analytics, I am passionate about enterprise business systems. I relish complex problems, particularly (technical or analytical ones) with many moving parts that can be described or solved through understanding the underlying patterns or systems. I like to bring order to the chaos.

Session 4

The Session: Creating comics and using it in technical communication
Comics are visual storytelling with the big plus that you can add a human element that weaves a story together.
In my session, I’ll talk briefly about
  • My version of creating comics
  • Conduct a short workshop on creating your avatar in comic form and stitch those into a comic strip
  • Using comics in technical communication
Creating comics requires skill, patience, and planning ahead, but it’s thrilling to see all the elements come together in the end.
