About the Conference
Participants joining from other cities can contact us for guidance on travel and accommodation.
- Travel:
- By bus: Get down at Gachibowli.
- By outstation train: Get down at Secunderabad / Begumpet / Kacheguda railway station and take a metro from there only to reach Raidurg metro station. Then, get a ride (Auto/Cab/Bus) to the venue in Gachibowli.
- By Flight: Take a cab (Ola/Uber/other) or Airport shuttle to Hi-tech/Gachibowli.
- Accommodation: Search for stays near Gachibowli. There are decent stay options available.

About the Speaker
With two decades of experience in the software industry, Nivedita has a successful track record of leading global engineering teams across geographies including APJ, EMEA, and US.
- Currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager and India Site Lead for the Google Cloud Storage team.
- Joined Google from Parexel, where she was leading the product engineering teams in India.
- In her prior role at CA technologies (now Broadcom), during her tenure of 15 years, she was the head of Engineering for Workload Automation product line. She had also led the Engineering Services teams at CA India, which included Information Engineering, Globalization, DevOps Tools Services, Accessibility, and Secure Coding Development Practices teams.
Outside her core work, Nivedita-owing to her passion for Women in Technology, has been associated with AnitaB and Grace Hopper Conference India Program since its inception in India in 2010; she also started the Hyderabad.AnitaB chapter.

Strong soft skills are as important as strong technical skills. A typical day in the life of any technical writer involves dealing with different stakeholders, from a developer/tester to a Support engineer, to complete a documentation task or resolve feedback. Sometimes, these discussions are not so simple or straightforward, emotions might come into the picture, and diplomacy is required for a smooth resolution.
