The Topic

The Docs Pipeline of the (Near) Future: Doc Creation, Testing, and Self-Healing

About the Session

In this presentation, we’ll explore novel approaches to documentation that leverage advanced AI and testing methodologies to give you a peak at how you may be working in the near future.

We’ll discuss the role that AI has in content creation and where it falls short, define what “Docs as Tests” is and how we can use the strategy to validate our docs, and share insights into cutting-edge self-healing documentation technologies, ensuring ongoing accuracy and relevance with a human touch.

Join to discover how these advancements can revolutionize your documentation process, making it more efficient, reliable, and future-ready.

About the Presenter

Technical writer by day, engineer by night, and father everywhere in between, Manny wears many (figurative) hats. He’s passionate about intuitive and scalable developer experiences and likes diving into the deep end as the 0th user.

I developed and implemented AI content drafting tooling within Skyflow (which has been in use for 1+ years). I defined Docs as Tests and developed Doc Detective, a tool that helps writers test and validate their content. I’m actively working with cutting-edge tooling to allow documentation to be “self-healing” with a human in the loop.
