TWT Mentorship Program is an initiative to help tech writers in multiple professional aspects. This initiative is divided into several programs among which Mastering Job Search is the first one, organised by TWT Mumbai Team.
About Mastering Job Search
Tech Writer’s Tribe launched the Mentorship Program in the month of June, 2023. Shrutika Kalgutkar from Team Mumbai planned the first event for the program. She conceptualised and planned an event of 4 workshops to help the technical writers who seek guidance to resolve issues faced while applying for the job. She roped in Sumedh Nene to mentor a huge group of tech writers. Her team member, Saurabh Toraskar, helped with preparation of promotional materials.
TWT Mentoring program focussed on more than just your resume and addresses other key aspects that are valuable in the Indian and global career markets. Including both freshers and experienced, 50+ participants participated.
This mentorship initiative is conducted through online sessions of 4 workshops on 2 consecutive weekends 2 hours each. In the workshop, on June 17-18 and June 24-25, the mentor, Sumedh Nene taught
- How to write a resume and cover letter that will get you noticed by hiring managers
- How to prepare for a technical writing interview and ace your answers
- How to network with other technical writers and build relationships that can help you land your dream job
- The latest trends in the technical writing industry and how to stay ahead of the curve

Sumedh Nene has 20+ years of international experience in Technical Communications. He has been helping job seekers of all streams and professions find and get jobs for over 10 years.
