Quick Byte 1: Voice-enabled search feature in user manuals by Shashi K

This presentation evaluates the importance of voice-over type.
There are tons of applications that need inputs to perform an action by manually entering through the keyboard. Sometimes it will be difficult to type while on the go, the screen can be limiting to enter the details and can be difficult to use.
This tool makes it easier for users to quickly find the information they need, without having to manually type their search query.
The purpose of this presentation is to allow users to search for product information by simply speaking into the device.

Shashi Kumar K is a technical writer by profession, and with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, He has 9 years of experience in technical writing.
At his workplace, he has a team of six members and they follow agile methodology. They use Confluence and SIPS ( in-house tool) to edit a manual.
Interests
- Works as a wildlife rescuer.
- An active member of a local photography club. He likes to capture the beauty of nature and wild animals.
- Sharing knowledge and raising awareness about conservation is an important part of being a wildlife rescuer.
