About Us

Tech Writer’s Tribe (TWT) was founded with a simple goal: to create a community where technical writers could connect, learn, and grow. In the past three years, TWT has grown from a small online forum to a global community of over 14,000 tech writers from 43 countries.

TWT’s success is due in large part to its dedicated volunteers. Over 30 volunteers work tirelessly to organize and run TWT’s many events, including weekly online meetups, webinars, and workshops. TWT also has a thriving community on social media, with active WhatsApp and Telegram groups for tech writers from all over the world.

In addition to providing a platform for technical writers to connect and learn, TWT also offers a variety of community service initiatives. These initiatives include:

  • Mentorship Program: TWT matches experienced tech writers with aspiring tech writers to provide guidance and support.
  • Career Conversations: TWT hosts regular events where tech writers can network with potential employers and learn about career opportunities.
  • Creating Awareness about Tech Writing: TWT works to raise awareness of the tech writing profession and its importance.
  • Educating Organizations about Tech Writing: TWT provides training and resources to help organizations improve their technical documentation.

TWT is always looking for new volunteers and ways to improve. If you are interested in getting involved, please visit the TWT website or contact us on social media.

How to Join Hands with TWT

There are many ways to join hands with TWT and help us continue to grow and succeed. Here are a few ideas:

  • Write articles for the TWT newsletter. The TWT newsletter is a great way to share your knowledge and expertise with the tech writing community.
  • Volunteer for a TWT activity. TWT hosts a variety of events throughout the year, and we always need help from volunteers.
  • Propose new initiatives for tech writers. We are always looking for new ways to improve the tech writing community. If you have an idea, let us know!

Thank you for your interest in Tech Writer’s Tribe. We look forward to working with you to make the tech writing community even stronger.
