Course Structure
Day 1: DDLC and Audience Analysis
- What is Agile and how documentation fits into it
- SDLC and DDLC (all phases in detail)
- Understanding audience – user analysis – geography, culture, audience (persona)
Day 2: Product Documentation and Key Skills
- Understanding the product for documentation from a user perspective
- Methodology: Working in a project (Agile, JIRA)
- How to use JIRA as a Key tool for documentation tasks and collaboration
- Important skills –
- Interviewing SMEs
- Creating Doc Plan
- Creating Check-lists
- Estimating Efforts
About the Instructor
Involved in mentoring and helping the technical writing community for a long time. He prefers sharing knowledge and learning with the focus on building a skilled community. He has 23+ years of experience in the field of writing that spreads across writing for English daily, The Asian Age, and 20+ experience in technical documentation.
He has led multiple technical documentation teams as Manager and Director. He has been instrumental in setting up new documentation websites, implementing new processes, setting up documentation teams and getting Technical Documentation teams an EQUAL value in the Company environment.
Having trained more than 900+ professionals, his core focus is on building skills where all can earn jobs and respect on their own.

Posted at 20:26h, 20 FebruaryHello, do we have access to sessions like these (as videos, etc) after attending them? Mostly, the opportunities to apply these learnings may not come up immediately and when they do come, it is difficult to recall most of the knowledge gained here.
